Welcome to Waveney Taxis, otherwise known and operated under the name of ‘Waveney Hire’. On this website and our online services we may also be pronounced as ‘Our, Ourselves, We and Us’. Please note that any of the stated above, we will still be talking about ‘Waveney Taxis’.

If you continue to browse, use, register, and login to our website and/or services you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out on this webpage. If you do not agree with the terms and conditions set out on this webpage, please stop using our website and our services.

The information such as pricing shown on our website are subject to change without prior notice, we agree to honour the pricing at a time of booking but will not be held responsible at any given time if you are unhappy about our pricing arrangements. It is the owner/manager/office operator’s discretion about pricing information regarding pricing.

The services which we offer on our website are subject to vehicle and driver availability, we will inform you well in advance if we encounter a problem. We will not confirm a booking from you, if we know ourselves we cannot carry out the journey.

We do offer ‘Accounts’ otherwise known as ‘Business Accounts’ and 'Customer Accounts' which are subject to application and acceptance from us. An account is a quick and easy way of booking a taxi with us to and from your place of business. An account is subject to our credit terms and allowing an account holder to pay us on a weekly or monthly basis for taxi services.

When you obtain a quote from us on our website this is not a ‘confirmed booking’, it is ‘you’ the customer asking us for a fixed price from a pickup location to a drop off location. A quote from us is fixed at the time of ‘you’ the customer enquiring. The quote you are given is valid for 24 hours and is subject to change after that time, without prior notice. It is the owner/manager/office operator’s discretion about quote information.

When placing a booking on our website and/or mobile application, you agree that you are liable for the payment once the booking has been confirmed by us. A booking on our website and/or mobile application is not a confirmed booking until you have had correspondence from us. The correspondence could be in a form of telephone call to confirm your booking, a text message to confirm your booking, an email to confirm your booking and/or a mobile application notification to confirm your booking. The easiest way of booking with us is to contact us direct on 01502 733 733, we will then be able to confirm your booking and give you an estimated time of arrival.

You have the right to cancel any booking with us, but would need to give us as much notice as you can. Sometimes on long journeys we may require an upfront payment to avoid any cancellation/payment issues. If you cancel a booking whilst a taxi is on its way to you, you may be liable for the fare total.

Card payments
We do accept card payments but you would need to tell us beforehand if you wish to make a card payment. Card payments may incur a card fee on top of your total fare.

We do offer ‘contracts’ which is an agreement between you as the customer and us as the operator, in which at a set day and time we will be with you at a pickup location and provide transport to a drop off location. You as the customer agree to pay us as the operator for the transport. For private hire contracts please contact us.

Airport Bookings
We offer airport transport at very competitive prices, our airport taxi is subject to availability. We do require a payment before your airport journey commences, this can be paid on the day in which the taxi arrives at your pickup location. If you require a return journey with us, a return journey payment will also need to be paid up front. We cannot accept no liability if you do not book and make a payment for a return journey.

Discounts, Deals and Promotions
From time to time we do offer discounts, deals and promotions. Please note this is a first come, first serve basis. Our flyer promotion does offer a 10% discount available with the flyer being presented to the driver. You must also inform us at the time of booking that you have a flyer present. Failure to present the flyer to the driver will result in 10% not being deducted from the fare total. The 10% flyer discount does not count towards airport travel. There is no discount for airport travel unless stated by us.

Warranty and Accuracy of confirmed bookings
Due to the nature of the business, we unfortunately do not provide any warranty or accuracy with regards to our services. We endeavour to provide the best possible service but due to traffic and problems which we do not and cannot control there may be times in which a vehicle could cause us problems or a driver could be held up in traffic. We will not be liable for any such occasion and you as the customer should understand any such situation.
